The day had turned out nice, the temperature hovering at the freezing point. When they went out to shovel the driveway, it was quite comfortable out. The perfect winter day. Trinity had insisted on going out to help him shovel, but in truth, she wasn't all that helpful. She spent the majority of the thirty minutes, leaned against his truck watching him shovel.

He worked fast and frantically, heaving the snow on the large shovel over his shoulder and onto the snow-bank. He was so damned sexy; she was aroused just watching him. Things had been relaxed this morning, but she didn't want relaxed. She wanted him to want her as badly today as he had appeared to last night.

"Wade?"

He stopped shovelling and turned to face her, his dark eyes scanning her up and down from head to toe and a smile touching his lips. "Are you planning on shovelling with that or is it all for show?"

"Wha-" she looked down at the shovel she had her hands on, but had yet to use and heat rose up into her cheeks. "I was... soon."

His grin widened. "Uh-huh." Walking up to her he pulled off his leather gloves and stuffed them in his jacket pocket. Reclining against the truck next to her, he nodded to the tiny pile of snow remaining at the foot of the driveway. "I think you're too late.'

Trinity huffed.

"What's up?"

She turned to face him, leaning her shoulder against the truck and nipping at her bottom lip as she gained the courage to start the conversation she'd been wanting to have all morning. "I want to talk about last night."

His grin faded as he clucked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "Last night," he parroted.

Taking his cold hand she interlaced their fingers, feeling a sense of comfort from the contact and was encouraged by the fact that he didn't pull his hand away. "We had a deal."

He turned to face her, his eyes locking onto hers. "We did," he confirmed.

Closing the small distance that remained between them, she slipped her free hand under his open down-filled jacket. "I haven't changed my mind, Wade."

Releasing her grasp, Wade raked a shaky hand through his hair. Was he nervous? Of her? Heaving a loud sigh, he slipped an arm around her waist and touched her cheek with the palm of his other hand.

Closing her eyes, she took a moment to bask in the feel of his hand before turning her head and kissing his palm. She could feel his cock growing against her as he gently pushed her back against the truck, his massive frame pinning hers. Her heart was beating so quickly, she was actually becoming short of breath and her excitement began to gather between her legs.

Hooking his finger under her chin, he tilted her face up so she was looking him in the eye.
